Sound Nomads

Site-specific sound installation and performance for the international “factory” exhibition of the Museums of Bat Yam (Tel Aviv / Israel).

Project details

SOUND NOMADS is an art project by a Berlin based media artist GER GER. It is a combination of sound art, music, public art, performance, interactive installations and video.

In 2009, Matthias Cermak joined Sound Nomads to create a site-specific sound installation and performance for the international “factory” exhibition for the Museums of Bat Yam (Tel Aviv / Israel). This entailed 2 weeks of traveling, recording, brainstorming, and constructing a setup, in addition to 3 days of live performances in May 2009.
